PETERSFIELD & DISTRICT PHILATELIC SOCIETY – AUCTION
The Society holds an auction annually, normally on a Saturday in mid-March at the Petersfield Community Centre (see the “Drop In” tab) in the Main Hall & Club Room (where refreshments may be bought).
Viewing takes place between 10.00am – 1.30pm, with the actual auction from 2.00pm – 4.00 pm; there is normally a break of 15 – 20 minutes after the sale of the first 200 lots. This provides the opportunity for successful bidders, not attending the second half of the auction, to settle payment for their lots.
The PDF files below contain the necessary information to enable potential bidders to participate in the auction:
Postal Bids: These are to be completed on the Auction Bid Form and forwarded to the address on the form; the same information may be sent by e-mail. All postal bids must be received by close of play on the day prior to the Auction; no postal bids will be accepted thereafter.
